August Grab-A-Byte is here at Scrapbook-Bytes, and I must say this group of designs is gorgeous! All of the designers at SBB have done such a wonderful job. The colors are spectacularly delicious. I hope you agree!

New Release: Missing You

Happy Friday! I hope you had a great (short) week and you're ready for some more summer fun!

However, sometimes, summer also means goodbyes: graduation, moving to a new house or a new town, even splitting up the family for vacations and camps. If you're the one waiting at home, it's hard to be patient, but scrapbooking is a great way to put your feelings out there for our loved ones to understand.

Along those lines, Tami has created another beautiful and delicate kit that you need in your stash. Her new release, Missing You, was originally inspired by her feelings while her husband was traveling for work.

Although the papers and elements are up to her normal quality, the wordart in this kit is what makes it so special and unique. There are only two included in the preview, but the full kit has 10 beautiful sentiments, perfect for pages about your loved ones' travels and reunions, as well as a time to think about friends and family you've lost touch with or who have gone away. When I read each sentiment, I thought of someone who would be perfect to write about, and I think Tami's CT girls did, too. Their inspiration is below.

Today I chose this gorgeous layout by jomi.

I love the graphic quality to the whole composition as well as the blended paper and awesome photo perspective. It caught my eye right away.

New Release at TDC: A Moment in Time

Remember that preview I shared with you yesterday? Well, I'm pleased to be back to show you the full kit and tell you all about its contents. Check out the preview for A Moment in Time, brand new in Tami Miller's store at The Digi Chick today!!

As you can tell, the colors in this kit are soft, but they can also be bright and colorful in the right layout. While the preview immediately reminded me of heritage and baby pages, you'll see that it can be used for lots of different layouts. The zipped file includes 12 papers and 39 elements, including 7 flowers of different types, a few leaves, 3 messy backgrounds, and some lovely flourishes, which are my favorite bits. To see the complete list of contents, check it out in the store.

I know, for me, it's really important to see all the elements in the kit "unpacked," so I also want to share some of the layouts that Tami's creative team has been able to make. I think you'll be surprised at how differently our pages came out!
